    it’s funny seeing the ocean depicted in games and movies as a vibrant & lively, and then compare it to my one experience of snorkeling, which was the shallow-water equivalent of this. But with more cola cans.

    Nope I’m out. I had to quit Subnautica halfway through because I was way too stressed. Large bodies of water are not meant for humans and this one is warning us to fuck off with a bone graveyard

      The biggest for me is being in a fully 3D space. On land, you worry around you on a stable surface and above you in the air. Under water, you worry about every direction and all your instincts, survival skills, and evolutionary advantages for land mean absolutely nothing.
