    Hey, you.

YEAH YOU! WITH THE FACE ON YOUR HEAD!

YOU are a FULLY FLEDGED HUMAN BEING with VALID FEELINGS and DIFFICULTIES!

YOU are BEAUTIFUL and HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF GREAT STRENGTH whether you REALIZE IT OR NOT

YOU can FACE THE DAY ahead and NOBODY CAN STOP YOU unless you LET THEM

If someone wants to HATE YOU FOR EXISTING, then you have to EXIST AS HARD AS POSSIBLE because they aren’t going to change, but YOU DON’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT PETTY SHITHEADS

    GO GET EM, TIGER

I always tell my kid “if your sexuality changes as you go, that’s fine. It doesn’t mean that you’re ‘fake’. Sometimes our preferences evolve with our changing knowledge about ourselves and it can become something else. It’s fine to change.”

I remember girls being talked about behind their backs in high school because they started dating boys and thus were “sluts faking being lesbian”. Fukkin’ gross. Gay is valid. Lesbian is valid. Bisexual is valid. Asexual is valid. 👍

I’d say you can fix that by realizing that the world was already on fire anyway and that there’s no time like today to start appreciating yourself. Once you do, you’ll find more inner strength to survive and help others survive in this burning world, and you’ll almost certainly find way more inner strength than what you might be expecting.

The world will keep burning, but unfortunately there is no time to cry about it. What we must do now is grab the fire extinguishers and get ready for a hell of a ride. We need people with resolve, self-confidence and determination, and feeling good about yourself definitely helps with that.

P.S.: hope this comment was at all helpful and that it didn’t just sound like a bunch of bland words to you!

Thanks for saying this, it does help ❤️

I just find it hard to actually take action and not just feel cynical/disillusioned/unable to enact change, which is what I’m doing most of the time.

Of course it helps to start small but I don’t really seem to get any relief from what I do control. Sure it’s nice knowing my friends would eat the billionaires with me but that won’t actually change anything in the world cause we’re all privileged enough to not feel threatened enough (privilege, baby) by the current state of the world to actually get off our asses.

Which in turn makes me feel like I’m just a blob floating on the waves of a storm of someone else’s design and it’s not worth the effort to invest in myself and try to make myself grow as a person.

The most important acceptance is your own

Also the hardest. But indeed the most important. But really the hardest. And importantest. But fucking hard.

      Facts

It took me so long to accept myself for who I am, I wish I accepted myself sooner as it would have saved me so much pain in my life.

But damn was it hard to get passed my shitty upbringing to find myself and accept myself.

I’ll never forget looking at myself in the mirror and saying to myself “I’m Bi”. Instantly a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders and I felt amazing. It literally brought a tear to my eye being able to say it aloud for the first time.
