The morning begins not with coffee, but with meat assaults.

The Soviet approach to war is calculated on a large amount of meat and scrap metal. No tactics and strategy. The enemy is pressed by a large number of stupid soldiers.

That morning, our company defeated two complete platoons of Russians:

☠️ 21 - 200☠️

☠️ 16 - 300☠️

In the video, you can see the damage that was removed during one flight of the Mavik 😅

Man, this shit is awful. Modern combat was bad enough, but at least you had training that could at least improve your chances at surviving an artillery barrage.

Is there even anything you can do but spread out? Doesn’t seem like grabbing cover really does anything but make you a larger slower target.

I feel like every small squad is going to need a champion skeet/clay pigeon shooter with them in the future.

Drones are the new hotness with the Ukraine war and already there are a bunch of counter UAS solutions. Mostly jamming and lasers. Unfortunately it is fresh military tech, meaning neither side really has access to it (as far as I’m aware), so we will continue to see drones being used very effectively on both sides.

I remember reading something about possibly using some kind of AI to take over when being jammed, so that it still hits the target.

Yeah the switchblade has auto tracking (which is just an algorithm), but simple fpv drones with bombs on them won’t even get in the air if the control freqs are jammed.
