Although nostr users are pioneers in this, I think that the nostr protocol will offer much more when new users enter and the content will be much richer. Indeed as it is know where 90% of posts are cryptocurrency related is frustrating.

I don’t see why micro payments cannot be implemented in the fediverse too. Could improve content as a whole but not be in your face as is on nostr now.
