    I was already sold on how shitty it is on applying power that dissipates heats, to try and cool a very thin strip.

    That said I think the car beverage cooler is the an ideal place for it where compactness and portability for occasional use are more important than energy efficiency. I know he gets into that already but my family had one for that purpose. A simple thermal controller and properly insulated door would improve the performance of the silly cooler.

      He had to wait like 13 hours for it to barely chill the beverages. That’s legitimately only good for massive car trips. Why not just get any slightly decent ice chest and use that?

        It’s not even for that, it’s more for bringing things straight from the fridge into the cooler so that they don’t warm up as fast.
