Yes, votes wouldn’t matter really. It’s not about voting. It’s about keeping track.
About the whole community, if you launch it, you would probably see something like ShitUSAys as Lemmy version of ShitAmericansSay as a counterbalance.
Not sure if there is a need for such communities to keep track on how much crap citizens of different countries say.
