    He did it twice, too.

This was obviously deliberate and calculated.

There is no way Musk is autistic. He is a master social manipulator. His extreme ability to manipulate people for personal gain requires exactly the kind of social hyperawareness, in a neurotypical-dominated environment, that is incompatible with being autistic.

There’s certainly something going on with him, but autism ain’t it.

I am autistic, and I think Elon is as well.

He does not have an extreme ability to manipulate people via charisma and social awareness.

He has a lot, a LOT of money, and was able to play well into the trope of a high functioning autistic genius.

He is not actually a genius, he is probably actually dumber than your average person, but he tricked people into thinking he was a high functioning autistic genius by consistently lying about how hard he works and multi tasks.

He typecast himself for a public image, and it worked.

He’s the idiot’s idea of a genius, he acts like he’s Shelton, he’s Cumberbatch Sherlock, he’s Dexter from Dexter’s lab… but he is not actually very smart… go watch the Twitter take over Twitter Spaces he did where he’s exposed as not even understanding what a software stack is beyond a corporate buzzword level… he’s very, very bad with people, but he has enough money and power he can threaten people with lawsuits or being fired.

In actuality he is a narccissist authoritarian leader with an ego as fragile as a stick of mechanical pencil graphite, and consistently makes terrible staffing and leadership and business decisions, and then throws temper tantrums when his employees cannot solve a problem he created by making a stupid design decision.

His programming at what eventually became PayPal was so bad that it all had to be thrown out and rewritten.

At Tesla and SpaceX, he has people who’ve been hired by his immediate subordinates to basically constantly distract Elon from making actual business decisions as much as possible by providing him a constant stream of fluffed up meaningless good news, because he only fucks things up.

He has a massive, absurd need to be accepted by the communities he admires, which led him to becoming an edgy meme troll lord, then just buying Twitter, and telling all the advertisers to go fuck themselves, during an episode of what 4chan would call ‘tard rage’ or a ‘tism episode’.

He has a well established pattern of grandiose thinking, mania periods and depressive periods.

The problem is that investors and many people in general are so stupid that they either fall for the fake genius front, or actually just live vicariously through his ability to insult and be outrageous toward other people, similar to how Trump gained mass popularity by putting on a convincing enough front as a successful businessman and also being an outrageous boor.

          Thank you!

I’m much better at expressing myself in writing than in spontaeous, impromptu speech.

          Autism, and what not.

Ssdly, Elon doesn’t seem to be much of a writer.

You’d think he’d hire like… speech writers? PR people? But oh wait, he has more ego than brains.

      Agreed

There is no way Musk is autistic.

Personally I’m not so sure about that. There are probably multiple things going on with him.
