    Indigenous? You know most Indians actually prefer the term Indian. You should really go out and meet some people you normally wouldn’t.

    That said, Indians? They’re a perfect example of immigration gone wrong.

      The US gov refers to them as Indians, the government bodies representing them use Indians, hell they even still use Indian because colonialism; it doesn’t mean “that’s what they prefer” and it doesn’t mean using indigenous in this context is wrong. Because apparently you don’t know, in Canada we use “first nations” or “indigenous people” colloquially…

      They’re a perfect example of immigration gone wrong.

      … Funny you aren’t in a hurry to implement drastic measures to compensate for that. Whatever it’s an example of it still doesn’t explain why “indians” should be dragged out of their homes for not having white skin.

        When there’s a confidently misinformed shit-take to be found, there’s a good chance it’s from someone on reddthat. You wouldn’t be surprised how often it ends up being Kaboom, too.
