The rapper formerly known as Kanye West directed viewers to his website, where the homepage was selling a T-shirt with a swastika on the front.

Sad to see that the dude’s in this state. He clearly needs psychiatric care, not a platform from which to yell his absurdities.

Anybody know what the official shop site is called? On yeezy(dot)com is only one item and that’s a white r-Shirt with a black swastika on the front.

The shop feels broken tho, because there are almost no ux elements.

Is he doing this to remain relevant?

This is the official website. It’s linked on the wiki page for Kanye and Kanye has advertised it on his Insta. I thought it was fake too, because it’s incredibly poorly designed. You can’t even see the price of the shirt until it’s in your cart.

There aren’t a lot of jurisdictions in the world that ban the sale or display of the swastika (in Nazi-supporting circumstances). Australia and Germany are the only ones that come to mind, and Australia has only done so very recently (this year).

Don’t forget about Austria, although I believe that won’t be for much longer as the next head of state is openly a Hitler fanboy

I’m not sure if displaying a swastika is banned, if it is I wasn’t aware of that.

Most states banned the salute. The federal govt recently banned it too, with mandatory incarceration.

What’s insane is that FOX allowed this commercial to air in the first place. I’m sure someone at FOX will say “We had no idea he would put this on his site”, which we’ll all know is bullshit because they scrutinize the fuck out of every Super Bowl ad before it gets to air. There is a 0% chance that nobody knew about this beforehand.

Money does, however, buy security. Money would solve all of my worst problems and make the other ones easier to handle. We don’t need a lot, but sure as hell need more than we have now and people like him don’t deserve a damn fucking cent(besides any universal social programs because that’s what universal means and I ain’t gunna be that guy).

Probably not a popular opinion around here, but this is actually one of the rare cases where he is (was) extremely talented at his main thing (producing). That doesn’t mean he deserves that disproportionate amount of wealth, but he’s contributed more to culture than elon ever could.

This is basically undeniable, but what really makes me sad is the artists who don’t seem to be Nazis or even right wing but still support this dude and stand up for him because he’s been so influential on many of them.

You don’t get wealthy if you’re good, because it takes a certain amount of greed and materialism
