A San Diego assemblyman introduced a bill to outlaw discriminatory pricing that’s based on how you purchase items online and what merchants think you’re willing to pay.

All my ISP ever sees is one bursty data stream of encrypted packets going to a VPN or Tor network.

So this bill would make me pay the highest tier because they can’t see what I’m browsing?
