Yes im making slang, communities is such a long word.
Im interested what kind of things we should (eventually, anyway) cover.
femboys!
Reddit migrant here, looking for some rough equivalents of what we have/had over there. Not sure how much my suggestions are worth, considering I’m purely a fetishist, and not really into nudity (or anything involving intimate areas), which makes my existance on a purely NSFW platform questionable… :P
- BDSM:
- General discussion board
- Memes (r/bdsmmemes)
- Content sharing boards:
- Bondage (maybe even with specializations like)
- Straitjackets (r/straitjacketbondage)
- Armbinders (r/armbinders)
- Sleepsacks
- Vacuum Beds (r/vacbeds)
- Bondage (maybe even with specializations like)
- Latex:
- Latex clothing
- Shiny bondage (r/shinybondage)
I’d probably actively participate in the BDSM discussion board, and have some OC bondage and latex content I could share, should appropriate communities arise.
- BDSM:
What about SluttyConfessions?
More audio content and sexting site that has option to go private
I think we should also focus on communities that can draw comments. Something along the lines of r/AskRedditAfterDark. Communities around erotica, roleplay, confessions etc should also be good for engagement.
Coms that are focused on visual stuff would naturally be low in engagement IMO.
Yeah ur right, very good point
More literary type of smut is something I want as well: https://lemmynsfw.com/c/written_smut
Personally I think filling out the vanilla some of the subs would be good to help drive traffic, which in turn helps determine which of the more niche ideas are wanted. That’s why I made [email protected]. Some other broad ones could be general nsfw, nsfw_gifs, (is gonewild still a thing?), and maybe a rule34 com.
Go real vanilla. Romantic porn, healthy porn and so on. The main drive of the site is it’s communities so it’s better to fill in niches where people like to talk about the content than just another still gallery of semi-naked conventionally attractive white girls.
Also porn for women. The gals at Reddit built themselves really cool communities and I don’t think there are that many corners on the internet where women can share and talk porn. Although this definitely needs to be initiated and moderated by women so if you’re male not much you (or I) can do.
Art commission communities. Because I make nsfw art and have bills to pay
not sure how big this instance is gonna get, but gonewildaudio is one of my favourite subreddits. I actually have no idea what’s going to happen to that subreddit if they decide to not reopen. Because that really was a unique place, most of the rest of the content you can find elsewhere but I genuinely have no idea where to find that kind of stuff if not for reddit.
I suppose this instance is more porn centric. However, I would love to see some of these older drug ret Reddit subs come back, like:
- darknet markets
- onions
- trees
- steroids
- steroidsourcetalk
Other than traps and femboys were always quite popular albeit niche.
All of the “gonewild” subs should specifically be for non-commercial OC, as they were on reddit. Nothing against people trying to make a buck off OnlyFans, but I much prefer content from people doing it “just because” as opposed to monetizing it.
I just say that because I saw a bunch of non-OC in [email protected].
I don’t think they necessarily need to be non-commercial, but the “gonewild” communities at least need to enforce that everything is OC. As you said, !asiansgonewild doesn’t seem “gonewild” at the moment.
There were “nofans” subs on reddit, it would be great to see that here, but that may require a bot to enforce the rules. Maybe one of the nofans mods could port the bot from reddit.
Fair point. I know the level of strictness varies - I think the OG /r/gonewild wouldn’t allow you to post if you used that account anywhere on reddit to direct traffic to Onlyfans. Other subs would let you post as long as you didn’t have any references to Onlyfans in that specific message or media (OF watermark).
Ultimately, it comes down to the rules set by each community’s mods, but I feel like the GW “brand” should specifically mean OC without directly soliciting for OF/Fansly/etc. But that’s just my two cents.
