    It’s actually a sad story. The global supply of anime noses ran out after excessive use in the past and has only recently started to recover. Many older works stand as a testament to the folly of man’s waste. A prime example below (Vision of Escaflowne, 1996):


    Really though, styles change over time. Especially when it comes to single pieces like this rather than teams of animators, the style can vary a ton from person to person.
