switched to lemmy as main platform on my phone a few days ago anyway. when boost for reddit finally was blocked completely. will try to be more active here and hope many other people do the same… there is a good chance with all that’s going on.

I was referring to cyberpunk as a genre and theme, I remembered some things after reading this post like shadowrun, cyberpunk ttrpg, Gibson’s books, system shock, etc.
Yeah, I just tend to think of that stuff as corporate feudalism. And I learned that concept from playing shadowrun as a kid and then getting into other cyberpunk stuff.
