Once the men who drive this movement find themselves in a position with any power/influence, they will do the same.

They’ve absorbed an ideology that men should be able to do whatever they want to anyone with less power than they have. And they believe it wholeheartedly. If they don’t have enough power to do it themselves, they’ll slavishly support any men of their ideology who do have the power.

This the fundamental, and possibly even the central, point of everything they do and everything they support.
