I think we’ve seen a few Scifi’s about such a project. Unless we get rid of rich c*nts, we are going there…
The title alone made me narrow my eyes and say, “I have questions”. This seems like vaporware that can’t come to fruition without experimenting on real living humans.
Does this mean I can finally get a prehensile tail!
Always thinking about yourself Greg… /s 😜
Aww, FUCK no!
If you don’t think this has bad idea written all over it your radar is broken. Suddenly we have a group of completely indistinguishable human bodies on which we can visit any atrocities we wish to deploy? I cont imagine anything going wrong with that. No possibility of, say, a black market of pithed humans being sold as experimental artificially grown humans. No dehumanizing attitudes that could be fostered.
Just wait until the sex industry gets ahold of them.
How is any if this bad its just brainless organic mass?
“…brainless organic mass” indistinguishable from humans.
More some than others.
Hi I have some fresh living headless human bodies to sell you, 100% authentically organic and lab grown
This is a good thing, dystopian scifi has rotted your brains
I think its so funny when ppl list things that can happen that have no historical basis but are instead pulled from tvshows/movies/books/etc. LIKE WHY ARE THEY MAKING TIME CRYSTALS IN CAPTAIN AMEFCIA 2 TIME CRYSTALS KILL JESUS WE HAVE TO STOP THEM
Do you know how Edgar Allan Poe died?
DO YOU KNOW HOW EDGAR ALLAN POE DIED?
If you don’t not think there aren’t humans out there who wouldn’t not pith a stolen baby for $10,000, you haven’t been looking around.
If you think organ farms have no historical or contemporary basis, you’re sheltered.
We don’t know the ethical ramifications of creating para human farms, but we have explored the philosophical ramifications in scifi. And it’s never good. Any thought experiment with this basis ends badly for everyone.
Hell I’m pretty sure if this tech ever becomes real, we won’t use it. We’ll just say we’re using it and instead keep kidnapping children like the current organ farms do, but now with a technobabble plausible deniability.
Nah. Seeing how society and medicine treats disabled people has opened our eyes to the sort of fucked up things that could happen here.
