I see many socialists on X and Instagram that are not on Mastodon, why is that? Is there a socialist argument as to why these organizations are still there, and should we join them?

    undermines the anti-capitalist messaging a little bit when its on the front page of one of the richest people on the planet dont you think?

    this is essentially the “if you dont like capitalism why do you exist in it” argument. i dont see the point in being a purist when it comes to communications, it would just be impossible to build a movement and grow. sure there are risks associated with it, but they are fairly low in the west.

      nope, its more like dont send all of your details to the people you are trying to dismantle lol, missing the point.

      is it praxis now to give ad revenue to elon musk, the seig heiling guy? should we have been begging hitler for a spot in his newspapers? or should we have seized thoses presses and made our own newspaper?
