Walls that go floor to ceiling, a full length door that locks.

I’m curious about the smell of these bathrooms compared to the ones with openings around the stall. The open stall allows better air flow, but that also means you’re getting a blend of everyone’s stench. These closed stalls seem like they’d hold a shit smell a lot longer, but you don’t have to share the smells with others.

I never notice a smell unless it’s like someone literally pissed on the floor or something, which is not super common around here. I bet you they’re probably ventilated.

I used to draw ventilation for businesses! So I dunno what the requirements are for public bathrooms like these, but bathroom stalls are generally required to be well ventilated. We usually always placed an extract vent right above the toilet

But how will the republicans peep through the cracks? Or slide under the wall to have totally not gay sex?

In the UK, this is just what toilets look like.

Edit: and there’s still a large opposition to trans people using toilets here

Where is it though? I don’t know anyone IRL that cares. And yet online apparently its the biggest issue in the world. Does make you wonder if they are either all bots or never leave the house.

I wish I didn’t know anymore IRL that cares about it. In laws and an aunt are right wing. I try not to be around them as they say heinous things when they get drunk. And they’re always drinking.

I think the worst I can think of is people that just don’t really understand, think its strange/confusing. But no one that is hostile to your existence. They will probably use the wrong terms, but they don’t really mean to offend and even if they think it odd, they won’t stop you from using a fucking toilet.

I suppose most people I know voted green though so it might be a sampling bias.

The UK is experiencing a surge in hate and violence against trans people, so it’s for sure sampling bias. From what I’ve heard from others from your country it varies by city a lot how accepting people are

Or, like, don’t look at people’s genitals in the bathrooms. This is not a real problem. Public restrooms have managed to create privacy for as long as we’ve had public restrooms. Trans people aren’t a new phenomenon, they’re just the latest conservative scapegoat.

This is not a real problem.

you’re gonna laugh at this but romans shat in companionship with their fellow people, like this:
