    They keep people in the car better during a rollover event. No idea if the gains there are worth the increases risk of not being able to quickly escape.

    Lots of car manufacturers recently are switching to laminate windows.

      They keep people in the car better during a rollover event.

      Even more effective is a little known technology called a seat belt. Windshields have been laminate for a while. Side windows are supposed to be tempered so that shatter into tiny pieces.

        Unfortunately a large part of the world treats this from optional to straight up hostile towards the idea of using it.

          So instead of fixing the issue of people not wearing seat belts, car manufacturers should start acommodating them?
