I hate it when people act like the entire community agrees with them about something. Not necessarily the commit modal, but people are in there saying the surveys where most people like new UI are all fake. I like the new UI. I don’t ever use the commit modal because I thought it was terrible. I’ve been using jetbrains for ~15 years. Maybe now I’ll try it out!

Claiming that survey or usage statistics are fake because you don’t understand how someone could like something different than you is ridiculous.
