I’m looking into getting my first set of active/electronic hearing protection. I know that Peltor Comtacs are essentially top of the line, but they’re a little outside my price range.

I still wanted to get something high quality that will last basically forever, and think I settled on Sordin’s Supreme Pro-X. Anybody have experience with these or think I can find something just as high quality but a little cheaper? The Sordins run like $320.
