It’s such an obvious put-on too. Like when The Daily Wire posts a video and all their people are smoking cigars and drinking spirits but by the end of the video the cigars are still at like 95% and nobody ever refilled their drink, I look at the Critical Drinker’s photos of himself that he’s shared and all I see is somebody who is embarrassed by their own personality trying to affect one that they think is cool.
And he’s still doing that shit at 41 which is extra cringe.
Honestly at least all the mass alcoholic countries usually celebrate the part where you do “fun” stuff with friends instead of being a lonesome drunk screeching at a computer screen over women in star wars or whatever. It’s not good but it’s way less sad, somehow.
Helps that it’s not a fake persona, it’s just a real addiction to partying and binge drinking. There’s an authenticity to it, nobody is pretending to be a heavy drinker they just are.
