Did Tolkien gaslit the entire world of literature and film into thinking that the ring was powerful and useful?

The problem is literacy, the reader of the book, the audience of the film. People don’t comprehend “rings of power” and what too much power does to leadership of any cult media system, religion, storybook, etc. People who think waging war and using power to crush the little people of the world is goodness have a massive problem comprehending stories and lessons.

    gaslit the entire world

The world was already being gaslit by clergy long before Tolkien and James Joyce were born, clergy who convince people fiction is non-fiction. Tolkien was trying to make the fiction even more fictiony to get the point across what clergy was dong to the entire world throughout history.
