This is a real thing I do. It feels weird if the weight of the carton isn’t evenly balanced when I take it from the fridge.
I do this! If I’m the one cooking, I’m cooking eggs in pairs so there’s never an odd number too.
Maybe I’m not autistic enough… But what do you do when there’s an odd number of eggs left?
Zig zag them.
I do similar but take out the outer corner ones first because they’re the most likely to get knocked in the fridge :P
To be fair, even weight distribution will lessen the chances for someone grabbing the empty end and having the heavy end droop the carton causing eggs to fall on the floor (this is a lessons learned) 🥚
Why would you ever want your eggs to be asymmetrical if you could help it? Eggs are fragile and symmetry promotes greater carton balance
“Balanced, as all things should be.”
The only correct way to remove eggs, duh
I keep all the eggs at the end that’s facing out, where I grab it. Less leverage on the carton.
More eggs in hand.
What if you only wanted one egg?
Me: sorry, that’s just not possible.
TIL: I have autism.
