    I love the hidden scene where you climb the statue and connect to the battleship. You can ask why is everything so shit in Revechol. And when you do the woman explains it with a delicate metaphor about this elaborate glass construction around a square in this far off place. The placement of the glass needs to be perfect so they can form this beautiful pattern on the square in the evening. Everything needs to be in its right place for the sum of the effects to work. Everything needs to be in its right place for the greater good.

    As she saying this Harry looks out over the ruins and economic desolation of Ravchol. There’s something so poignant about how unfair it seems. How these disinterested Powers That Be can treat this place and these people like a piece of glass in their delicate liberal construction of the world.

    I think it’s probably my favourite piece of writing in any game.

      To be fair they do have literal proof that their liberalism is holding back the apocalypse given the whole Pale temporal metaphysics stuff. Humanity’s literally thinking itself to death in this setting
