It is interesting though, that the targeted advertisement seem highly based on negative stereotypes. Like it’s ripped directly from shitty old movies, sit-coms and such.
I assume it’s because figuring out how to specifically target individuals is too difficult for a modern MBA, so they cheat and just try to force people into their easy to sort bins instead.
Yeah, I don’t bet, i refuse to use dating apps, but I DO love beer. But i look out for small stuff that I haven’t tried before, and usually shoot for local stuff when i travel. Like, I’m not gonna drink a Budweiser if i am at a bar in Detroit. I’m gunning down whatever seasonal Atwater brew i can’t get in Ohio, or trying to get my hands on some Black Rock brewery.
I too love various alcohol beverages. But I don’t give a flying fuck about what is advertised.
If I want good beer, I go to a beer focused bar or micro-brewery and ask for what I’m in the mood for, they usually supply me with whatever I desire. If I’m traveling, I go for anything local. I just can’t get myself to “Pull a Vincent” and eat McDonalds if I’m in France.

Because the shitty old movies sitcoms and such pushes the same stereotypes to sell stuff
A Marketype, if u want
Indeed. I’m just slightly surprised that no actual living person has looked at this and said: “Nah, this shit makes zero sense.”

I think you might be right.
