If all that was required to “save democracy” was to convince Palestine abstainers to vote, then why did Biden/Kamala stand with Israel? Are the people too insignificant to care about or so powerful they cost the election, which is it??

If Harris had won it would have changed absolutely nothing regarding the genocide. She might have continued the Biden regime’s lies about working for a ceasefire while actually supplying and cheering on the genocide but that’s about it.

I’m also cynical enough about the average American’s feelings towards foreign brown people to think that her genocidal Zionism is not what lost her the election. I think her insistence that everything was going fine domestically and her refusal to offer voters any kind of hope for some kind of material relief.

Trump, despite being an idiot and a fascist, actually recognised the existence of real material issues people face. His ideas of how to address those issues are horrible and wrong but at least he was not insulting people by trying to gaslight them into thinking everything was fine.

      I think both are true.

I think even if she didn’t change her domestic policies she would’ve stood a solid chance if she said Biden was doing genocide and she would stop it. The genocide was the top ranked reason for people who didn’t vote who would have voted Democrat.

But I also think she could’ve continued the genocide and won if she had addressed the domestic concerns. I probably would’ve voted for her if the offer was “Genocide continues but we legalized weed and forgave student loans and if you vote for me I’ll give you Medicare for All and 30 million units of public housing.”

But she offered neither. “You get to continue seeing dead children on your phone every day and no your rent will not go down, be grateful little piggy” was the offer. Which unsurprisingly wasn’t a popular message.

It’s the same as when Obama was elected.

If harris was president they’d just say stfu about Palestine, you’re making us look bad.

When a republican is president dems at least acknowledge that war crimes are bad which is unfortunately the most you can hope for out of them.

They’re being insufferable right now. I just want to show them pictures of the Dems plugging their ears or making fun of the names of dead children at the DNC to prove their being facetious: they never actually gave a shit.

doesnt matter whether it is “centered” or not when liberals would have crushed any movement to actually disrupt the bloodshed in its nucleus.

There’s been a few shots fired on Twitter today, with shitlibs trying to use the final solution announcement to redeem themselves and shift the blame to people who refused to vote for the genocidal staus quo. Just doubling down that they are irredeemable goblins.

Would it be “centered” because Israel would be abolished and the genocide would have ended? No? Then shut the fuck up liberal.

I will grant libs that if harris won these policies would have been rolled out more slowly. It might have even waited four years for Harris to lose her re-election bid and then whatever GOP head will institute them then. I will argue that having Trump do this policies increases the likelihood libs will fight against them. So as far as liberal activism goes having Trump in office is better than a random democrat or republican. Ultimately it is unimportant cause we known Trump didn’t singlehandedly author these policies or push the rest of the government into applying them.

This was solidly my argument before Trump took office, it’s been a little harder to see since then bc he’s been worse than his first term, but I think I still do lean towards this.

Biden was far, far worse than Trump 1. Biden did evil shit on a level Trump 1 couldn’t dream of, and faced no opposition. When Trump 1 did shit way more mild than what Biden did, like the travel ban, the libs showed the fuck up and he backed down.

I guess my bad for thinking past performance would be indicative of future results.

That’s the thing though. The only thing we can really put on trump are the vibes. He is ostensibly the most popular politican of the moment so society was ready for this moment and it would have happened regardless sof who was in office you know.

          cat-confused

I’m not sure what makes you say that? His approval rating is low and has always been low.

Is that just based on the fact that he won the presidential election? He didn’t win that because he was popular, he won because he wasn’t Joe Biden and Kamala was trying to be Joe Biden.

Name someone more popular? His rizz defines the current moment in politics.

People like him because he represents anti establishment thought and also the familiar establishment vibes. They like he is saying the quiet parts out loud.

I am not praising the man but he is a WWE hall of fame wrestler. It is good to see what works.

If Harris had won, libs would be calling us irresponsible for attacking her support for Israel because it would threaten the democrats’ chances of taking the house and senate in 2026.

That’s the sort of lib logic drives me insane. A few months after any election - we are right back in election season.
