I like the jab here but I don’t like how some of these deepfakes are indistinguishable from real life if you remove some context and view it on a smartphone
I know they were stealing them from Ukraine though. If you told me the Russians were dumb and desperate enough to parade around stolen washing machines as “spoils of war,” it wouldn’t sound completely implausible.
There’s still some telltale sign it’s AI, like the occasional discontinuity of limb movements. Its will still probably fool most people when viewed out-of-context, though.
