Maybe it’s needed
I need to clean my laptop keyboard from a minor spill. The community method has it drying for 3-5 days.
I’m buying a second keyboard to avoid downtime.
and reset uptime
? never!!
No joke though, my partner’s MacBook will turn on with the press of any button.
We had some systems at work like that it was so annoying but there was a setting in bios to disable it at least
How would you turn the mode off? Ctrl + C? Timer? GUI button?
the mouse
Wireless or wired? Organic, cybernetic or artificial?

I always clean it with a text editor open. This way the keys don’t trigger (many) menus and it helps for when putting them back.
I tried that once, ended up accidentally switching to single user mode and didn’t know how to get back so had to init 6
Yeah, it happens sometimes. You need to swipe the flux capacitor only with permuted water to avoid side fumbling.
This is why you get the keyboards that use USB-C cables can be unplugged at the keyboard itself.
Do not rob me of my air in a can.
You know you can unplug it?
