Even if they did, surely their protests would be more effective at changing their own government’s position, and not some far off other government of a much larger country?
Its like how people whatabout with Sudan, as though Western governments are in full bore support of either faction, and voicing displeasure for the genocide will somehow have a negative consequences if you’re a public figure.
