This is where we deeply disagree then. Pride parades are both by and for the queer community. They are a celebration and protest to show closeted and questioning people that it’s okay to live your life freely and openly.
Pride was a riot. We’re not asking nicely for our rights by trying to make others happy. We’re just fucking doing it.
