      I love Japan, but they are a far smaller space with much more densely packed population centers.

      High speed rail can and should happen in the US, but it won’t be enough alone to solve transportation issues in the states.

        There are plenty of large city centres in n north America. However, you need first rail before HSR! Or once you arrive at the destination how do you get into your actual destination?

      Yeah good news for them in Japan. And many developing countries are building HSR too, like Indonesia for example.

      Meanwhile, US? California’s HSR doesn’t seem to be built soon enough, heard the price increased significantly somehow
