    If anything I wish competition in the laptop space would be fiercer. We know Nvidia and AMD are making ARM chips but it might be a while, all we have now are Snapdragon and they aren’t very good.

      Western companies meanwhile bitch moan how reversing some outsourcing to China is impossible.

      I think the performance could be reasonable at the right price point. The Snapdragon laptops have been a flop mainly because of poor software support and over-promising that all your software would work. The reality is that a lot of software is still broken today, and the type of consumer who can have their needs met by the limited state of the system can be satisfied by a cheaper laptop.

    8 elite is for phones while X elite for notebooks but they’re basically the same right ? We can think using this Xiaomi soc in notebooks?
