At first one would expect cat owners to have a binary opposition of cats, the refined-graceful type and the goofy-fluffball type. However, this is mainly not the case. As in all things exist a dialectical sublation between the sub-types of kitties.

Goofball cats perhaps might be seen as full of zoomies and belly-up nappies. The ontological nature of refined kitty may be seen as silently sitting atop furniture, gracefully going and coming as they please. However, remember dialectics and do not be fooled by the appearance of false dichotomy. Cats are not static qualities but instead dynamic ever changing subjects. Inside every graceful cat exists the urge to stick out their tongue and roll off windowsills. Inside every fluffball exists moments of sublime beauty, gazing out a window, or displaying uncharacteristic poise while leaping to the summit of the cat tower.

These are not regressions, but instead, sublations of what Hegel called the in-itself into the not-for-itself. Grace exists within and defines goofiness, goofiness exists within and refines the gracefulness. Cat parents are thus a participant in a continual aufhebung oscillation between cat-as-goblin and cat-as-concept.

Also kitties are very cute and I wuv mine very very much

This is the platonic ideal of communist shitposts, thank you for expanding the total value of all reality with this!

My neighbor has an incredible beautiful chill tortie, except when she meows it’s like this demon screech full of pain and madness lmao. Her tortie does that scary cat “bagagwa merblemerr” type of vocalization, then goes right back to being gorgeous. You’re so right.

I’d also like to propose that one might expect the opposite ends of the spectrum to be a siamese and an orange tabby, with those representing grace and chaos respectfully. Except I have a siamese and he’s a nervous floofy ball of zoomies and my orange tabby is a silent wisp of a cat who struts around like a princess. It’s perfect and I love them so much
