I’ll never be able to properly appreciate how relevant secondary education made the decision making during COVID lockdown coherent to me.

The vaccine made sense, the respiratory vector, herd immunity, hospital overload, and mRNA all seemed like they were in the conversation being discussed how one might expect.

I had this conversation when I worked in the adrenochrome factory that was like "imagine all the bullshit of our dogshit job that we know helps people, but on your way to the car afterwards there’s a crowd of people booing you and throwing tomatoes.

Intelligence agencies having more power to exert benefits a militaristic fascist state immensely. Keeping the sick and vulnerable alive does not bring such an immediate and tangible set of benefits for it, so it does not care.

Someone with power misread this post, because more and more schools are getting metal detectors but still don’t have HEPA filters.

What’s not terrorism: forcing people to work and consume treats while dealing with the stress and fear and… there’s another T word I’m thinking of. Because if you don’t the economy crashes and ruins you and your children’s lives. Generational wealth has been on the ticket the last few “recessions” (depressions, by all rational measure). Technically you could say they’re threatening your kids with the trevails of poverty and the grim statistics. I mean there’s no guy in a balaclava or banner on the wall behind them. So it’s definitely not terrorism. But they’re kinda threatening you. And using fear. For political reasons.

Anyways where am I. Is this Wendy’s? I need to deliver a burger to a dude’s apartment where he’s writing an op-ed about the intangible and integral spirit of Office Culture in America and why we should end work-from-home.

All of the schools and hospitals near me have HEPA filters, and TSA is notoriously useless (I’ve heard some absolutely wild stories about things friends have smuggled into airports, including axes lol). I feel little crazy whenever y’all talk about how we’re all over COVID, when every indoors (and most outdoors) left-wing meetings I’ve been to has required masks. And I’m in a lot of the local groups.
