Tariq Kenney-Shawa, Al-Shabaka’s U.S. policy fellow, said: “This is among the worst footage I’ve seen. Not only were these boys clearly unarmed and present no threat whatsoever, but they were struck multiple times even after stumbling/crawling away. There is no way they could have been considered combatants. This is unreal.”
Assal Rad, an author with a Ph.D. in Middle East history, said: “Have we ever seen so many war crimes take place right before our eyes? Any country still providing weapons and aid to Israel is complicit in these crimes.”
[Warning: the article contains a footage whose content may distress users.]
I sincerely wish news articles would stop linking to X posts, and instead just mirror the content, or something.
Yes, I don’t understand why people keep using this platforn.
The same reason people keep using FB: it’s a dumpster fire if toxic waste and they like it that way
It’s probably an overhead or creative licensing thing. But it sucks. And if you’re a day late to the article, it’s a gamble that the video hasn’t already been removed.
Privacy Badger has replaced this X (Twitter) widget
And Twitter posts as sources is always very sketchy…
It’s Al-Jazeera. Their logo is their in the video, and the Arabic is a newscaster talking.
Hamas is using AI for their propaganda very often, so its not actually safe to say its real just because of a watermark and a voice…
You must be thinking of Israel
Propaganda and weaponized lies can only obscure the dead bodies, the forced starvation, the mass killing of children, and the utter destruction of an entire society for so long. Over time, it becomes increasingly difficult to conceal the nexus between the actions taken by Israel after October 7, the mendacious narratives it deployed, and Netanyahu’s desperate struggle to retain political power and his personal liberty. The 1,200 Israeli and international victims of October 7, and the more than 27,000 Palestinians whose deaths were justified in their names, deserve an unvarnished rendering of the truth.
can you substantiate this claim?
The source is already gone so doesn’t really matter now
Article said it’s a must see video, I went to the website and it linked to X.
Shame… I guess I won’t see it
Israel is comitting genocide
Gaza is also on the verge of famine now, if not already in the midst of it.
It is ongoing.

For those who can afford to donate (hope linking this isn’t against rules of any kind)
Everything is going according to the plan once you understand Israeli end goal.
This shit is happening on our watch and fake news is covering it up while half the country thinks Gaza residents deserve it.
Real terrorist.
Mirror for people that don’t want to click the Twitter video in the article:
Murderers.
But Benny Morris said the IDF air force signs off with 15 lawyers and super duper confirms all the targets. Surely israel apologists wouldn’t lie!
I could never understand why my dad hated Israel so much. Now it’s my turn!
Just remember there are 4 groups involved, not 2. You’ve got the Palestinian people, and the Israeli people. You also have Hamas and the Zionist dominated Israeli government.
As far as I am concerned, 90% of the blame falls on the Zionists. They have constantly broken agreements and goaded the Palestinian people. This led to the rise of Hamas, it was the only group willing to really stand up to the Israeli government.
The Israeli Zionists are working hard to conflate issues with them with issues with Israel in general and antisemitism in general. Don’t play into their hands on that.
For sure. Nevertheless it is the state of Israel carrying out the dirty work, rather than a bunch of rogue Zionists doing it by themselves.
Agreed. The state of Israel is thoroughly in the hands of the Zionist elements.
My point is that the options and views of the people aren’t always well reflected in their government. A lot of countries have the same problem (US and UK, definitely!). It’s human nature to band together, when attacked from the outside. Focusing attacks on the culpable entity helps a lot in correcting that.
100% agree.
I mean your point is true in general but Israel just has that many genocidal maniacs. Just look how much support the war has, even though they want Natanyahu out.
Much of that is the effect of propaganda. Once it becomes “us Vs them” a lot of logical thinking goes out the window. The first step to countering it is to stop feeding into it.
I guess so, but what I meant is that this isn’t a case of people being misrepresented by their government. The government is following the majority (which is growing, by the way) position of “let’s genocide the Palestinians for Lebensraum”, setting aside why that’s the minority position. This mess won’t end with Netanyahu and his ilk leaving.
Five groups: don’t forget the British/UN, who fucked up the handling of Mandatory Palestine in the first place.
Frankly, I don’t think partitioning the Jews and Muslims into separate states was ever going to work and the British should’ve forced them to deal with each other in a single secular state instead.
That was also a problem, but before that they should’ve never let Zionists into Palestine or helped them in their settler colonialism nonsense.
British should have put Israel in Germany
I still don’t understand this.
“We fucked so we are gonna give you someone else’s land”
Zionism predates the holocaust by several decades. The plan was always to colonize an area of the middle east. The founders of the ideology wished to do so to escape persecution in Europe, and determined that enacting violence on the native population of those regions was acceptable to achieve the end goal.
who fucked up the handling of Mandatory Palestine in the first place.
The British didn’t fuck up. It was done exactly as intended and designed by the Zionist movement to give the Israel the strategic leverage to occupy more and more land after the initial partitioning.
I’m not familiar enough with them to form a good opinion. Thanks for giving me a start.
The brothers, Isaac and Ishmael, should end their stupid family blood feud. Make peace morons!
said one writer and analyst. “This is unreal.”
Wro…
x platform
I understand. I, too, have doubts. Have a nice day.
everybody needs to see this
links to shitter
Yeah, I don’t
This is a video shot from far away with no confirmable context. It’s probably best to wait a few days to see what actually happened.
I mean it’s the drone that shot him. There’s not much room for doubt here.
I’m not doubting the person was shot by a drone I’m doubting the situation around why they were shot with a drone and I’d like it to be confirmed that they were actually unarmed before I add it to the list.
If you have ever seen a video of Hamas they sprint between empty buildings.
They certainly don’t walk completely out in the open like this without worries.
Haha ok I guess I haven’t watched enough hamas footage to identify them by gait.
Do they look armed to you?
Whether they are armed or not is less important than whether they were legitimate Hamas-related targets. This footage has no context in that regard.
Drone strikes are expensive, why not reserve them for gatherings of dozens of Gazans? Why take out small groups like this? Why release the video?
Drone strikes are expensive, why not reserve them for gatherings of dozens of Gazans? Why take out small groups like this? Why release the video?
Typically, the fellows pulling the trigger are so far removed from the costs it ceases to be a factor.
There is no way I could tell from that far away with that clothing type.
IDF justification:
As the youths were wandering through the rubble of the devastated areas in Gaza, they were essentially trespassing in what can be classified as hostile territory. These areas have been known to harbor terrorist activities and weapons caches. Given the high-risk nature of these environments, the IDF was merely enforcing standard operating procedures to protect both their forces and innocent civilians.
Moreover, these particular individuals had no visible means of identification, which left the IDF with little choice but to assume that they might pose a threat. Their lack of uniform and identifiable markers could potentially mean they are involved with terrorist organizations. This suspicion, coupled with their presence in an area known for previous hostile activities, made the situation highly volatile. It’s important to remember that the IDF operates under the principle of necessity and proportionality, meaning that only when there is an imminent danger will they engage.
Wow what a disgusting “justification” from the idf.
Unfortunately, they sleep very well at night.
Source?
only when there is an imminent danger will they engage.
Are there different definitions of “imminent danger” or something
Palestinians present = imminent danger
Is this real? It sounds like satire, but I just can’t tell any more.
The video won’t show up
Here’s a catbox mirror:
Here all works fine. Again the T link
At this rate the entire world won’t be able to see this
Fuck Israel.
