minus-squareaeronmelon@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·9 months agoAs a teacher, I’ve come to the realization that almost everyone wasn’t hugged enough as a kid. It breaks my heart every time I realize I’m the first person in a kid’s life that believed in them or told them that they were smart.
Makes me wonder if autistic people just weren’t hugged/snuggled enough as kids.
