      Yes, beavers can walk on two legs, but it’s not common. They usually only do it when they need to carry something in their front paws, such as mud, stones, or branches, while making scent mounds. Beavers use their tails as a prop when sitting or standing upright, and as a counterbalance and support when walking on their hind legs.
