    Thinkpad X13s, Snapdragon 8cx ~1600 ~6700

    Macbook Air M1 ~2300 ~8400

    Snapdragon X Elite ~2600 ~14200

    I’m still so surprised by this. Are snapdragon CPUs really that far behind still? They used to be only a few years behind apple. But I picked up a used OnePlus 10t with an 8 gen 1 CPU and according to geekbench it’s single core speed is almost half of the iPhone 13 Pro that I was using as a comparison.

    The 8 elite seems beefy but I’m sure it’s going to take a while before it percolates into cheaper phones.

      Well. The new Snapdragon X Elite appears to be quite ok.

      The Snapdragon 8cx is a now slightly older model, but I think when it came out was also not on par with Apple.

      That said, I find the Thinkpad X13s quite responsive, so for me it’s ok. I suppose it depends on your use case.
