Your point of immersion also holds true but it very much depends on the game. I do not need logic and immersion in all games.
Also you have universes where things just work weirldy and you have to accept it. I have no issue accepting the rules of fantasy worlds.

Logic only needs to be internally consistent for immersion, anyway. It doesn’t need to be consistent with our reality.
