Today I got fed up with my boss, so I decided to quicksafe and shit on his desk. I also punched the hr rep in the face and set half the lobby on fire.
When i tried to reload the quicksafe, it didn’t work. It says “file corrupted”. My last safe file is from 2 years ago (in-game). I don’t want to loose all that progress or my 3 months old daughter.
Help!
Is that a mod or something that allows you to quick save etc?
I never saw a save option except the auto save when you log out at night. But for me it always overwrites the older save file and in the morning, when I log in, I continue where I left.
Having a save and load option like you describe, could be helpful, but honestly I don’t know how that would be incorporated in a massive multiplayer game.
Are you sure you didn’t just save some settings?
That would certainly explain a lot. Anyway, I’m now in jail, so I’ll guess I’ll be playing some other games in my backlog while I’m waiting for time to pass.
I’ve never seen anyone successfully repair a save file before, they’re too large with all the item tracking.
You’re best option is to use the in game system to report your account was hacked (plead insanity), however they may not accept it unless you have proof. Often hacked accounts leave damage in the brain that can show in scans. If you find a willing doctor they might be able to either fake the scan or fake the damage (risky, could lose a lot of ability points)?
Yeah, this is a known issue. Unfortunately, reverting to an earlier savepoint only works if no other player sets a savepoint after yours. So for example, if your ex-boss takes a photo, that creates an implicit save. You cannot revert to a point earlier than that, then. Except if you destroy your ex-bosses savepoint.
You may want to consider switching servers, in order todo this you’ll need a passport. It’s a key that allows you to enter other servers, depending if the other server protocols allow it.
