      That’s why I said “looks like” and not that it is. Sad truth is LGBT people aren’t often found in jobs like that… and it would be statistically unusual for most or all of them to be LGBT.

        Neither gender identity or sexuality is defined by appearance. That’s not any better. All you’re doing is prejudicially perpetuating stereotypes.

        I have a feeling if someone said that a person “looks gay” or “looks trans”, you wouldn’t defend them responding to being called out for saying that with ‘I didn’t say they are, just said they look like it!’

          Neither gender nor sexuality is defined by appearance in general, but the straight white men do present themselves in a specific way.

          You are right to say that this might not be the straight white men’s club, but you would be wrong to say that the straight white men’s club does not look like this.

          Looks like as in appears, that’s how it presents which I could have worded differently. How likely do you think it is that they’re part of the lgbt community? And what insignia can you see indicating they support the community?
