But my comment said “I’m certain the text doesn’t say that because I’ve read it.” You’re saying “LotR (stories about a war) didn’t teach me a new language nor did it transform me into a dwarf/child/some third thing generically good at mining because of their height”. If we have to call that a mirror, it’s a funhouse mirror at best.
