    Well he can pay all the wages for Ukraine’s military to just sit there for a few months.

    And he should also be making weekly payments to start reimbursing all the world’s countries who have given to Ukraine.

      Typically reparations are paid after signing a treaty, a cease fire could be a step towards that.

        Typically the weaker person needs to give some concessions to not get obliterated during a war that the weaker person started.

        If an end of war with reparations was the goal, this is what Russia would request, not a ceasefire. A ceasefire is just a way to continue a war later with greater intensity.
