How do I simply copy a google photo to Clipboard so I can do a simple paste into any app?
https://support.google.com/photos/thread/2514728/how-do-i-simply-copy-a-google-photo-to-clipboard-so-i-can-do-a-simple-paste-into-any-app?hl=en I took a screenshot, but this would apply to anything in my Google photos. I simply want to share an image to an existing thread in a Facebook group, NOT to do a general share to Facebook in a new thread. The obvious way would be to paste from the clipboard. Is there an easy way to put a Google photo into the clipboard? There only seem to be share options. I don’t want to share as a link, I want to paste the actual image.
Any solutions for this now we are in 2025?
thanks a lot
Press and hold on the image, select copy from the pop-up?
Holding the image does nothing in the photos app.
Open gallery, select image, click… on bottom right, choose copy to clipboard.
You asked about Google image.
Click share, then on the bottom right of the Facebook option there should be a drop-down. Click it, and select Share to Group.
When you share to an app, it shares the image as if it’s copy pasted, it doesn’t share a link
