      That just means their dialect is wrong. Imprecise words exist in a lot of languages - like lacking unique words for pink and orange, or using the same weird to describe savory as meaty and delicious. Yeah umami I’m looking at you, anyone in the west who uses this word unironically is incorrect; the rest are just pretentious-sounding tools.

      And I’ll say it again; as America has the most native English speakers of any country in the world, and more than the next three countries combined (England is fifth on the list) by democratic default the way that WE define English it is the correct way.
