    Oh good

Despite their joy, in seeing Diesel alive and apparently thriving as a want-to-be elk, they have no plans to try to capture him. “He’s out there doing what he’s raised to do,” Drewry told the television network.

I wonder if those elk think he’s really handsome or ugly AF

Since he’s essentially their coyote-bouncer, it’s probably a little of both, like ruggedly ugly-handsome.

Ok are donkeys known for fighting off coyotes or something??? Should I be getting backyard donkeys to protect the neighborhood cats? And how did I go for so many years on the internet just learning this now?

TIL. Also, the blog post claims that donkeys can be seen “picking them [coyote] up by the neck and shaking them wildly: possibly causing trauma that can disable or injure”. Woah.

Probably any donkey small enough to be content in your backyard isn’t big enough to win against a coyote and not be injured. So your cats are better off indoors. It was fun learning these facts about donkeys today and seeing how happily Diesel blends into his new family!

Indoor cats ONLY for life bro.

It would be a security donkey. For the strays and idiots that have outdoor cats. I’d probably have to name him Batman; idk if legally I’d have another option at that point.

Buy yeah I guess you’re right on living conditions, damn logic

According to English Wikipedia, they are also known as wapitis and that’s what European languages seem to call them (including mine).
