Godzilla minus one is a true godzilla movie
The american ones are shit
I still haven’t watched it, but my wife and daughter will be out of town this weekend, so I mean to correct that.
They’ve just not been interested. Weird for my daughter too, because she’s into Japanese culture.
It actually has an interesting portrayal of post-war Japan. Not just a monster movie
I convinced my daughter to watch it with me this afternoon and I’m glad I did because we both enjoyed it.

I definitely did not expect “atomic breath” to be so literal.
So I have heard. In fact, that interests me more than the Godzilla part, although I’m also interested to see how that’s woven into the story.
And considering the original Godzilla is a response to U.S. nuclear weapons, specifically the men killed when the Daigo Fukuryū Maru fishing ship was hit by radioactive fallout from the U.S. Castle Bravo test, that makes sense.

(Technically, it only killed one of them, but it killed all 23 eventually.)
I just watched this the other day, was super surprised amazing movie been living rent free in my head
Shin is good too, it’s a modernized version of the old one, which Minus One is recreating.
But then the like is the reason
I wouldn’t contradict Godzilla if I were you.
