    I honestly just read it to make sure it didn’t mention the Netherlands. It doesn’t live up to the picture people often think of, which seems to be from the 80s or 90s or something.

          Afaik it’s much the same in Finland and Norway. It takes years and multiple hoop jumps to get on HRT, I think it takes around 5 years in Stockholm, and with the right wing party having been voted in in 2022, there’s now even less political will to improve things.

          Spain would be a better choice, but keep in mind that a lot of young people migrate from Spain to countries like Germany due to the meager economic opportunities, so it has to make sense for you jobwise.

          The language is also relatively easier to learn compared to many others.

          Also I can’t say anything about the waiting lists there. It’s just that culturally I know it is way easier there.
