    It is definitely radical and seems to be about maintaining quality of life. Not my kid and not my life, so how I feel about it isn’t relevant.

    What really is bothersome about the whole thing is that they did a hysterectomy and breast removal to primarily avoid discomfort and reduce care concerns, but they also mentioned it would avoid pregnancy and reduce the likelihood of sexual assault once the parents handed her over to a caregiver. That is disturbing that sexual assault had to be considered because it is a real concern in the fucked up reality we live in.

    The route they took is awful but the best one given they decided she should be born and have whatever life she has.
