Due to the recent thread here that I unfortunately had to delete (the OP was not playing nice), and the evidence and similar stories mounting over the last few years, I am making this post to acknowledge the problem our USA brethren are dealing with.

I am not saying there are any good solutions to this, or that you should take things into your own hands, thats for each person to decide for themselves. But this is rather an acknowledgement and also a reason to treat this situation with empathy.

Stay safe out there everyone!

    Capitalism!

I’m so glad that I don’t live in a socialist country. If I did, I wouldn’t be able to get the medication I need to be a contributing member of society, because of the mismanagement of a greedy few I’m sure.

I’m proud to ration my medication, because it means that I’m doing my part to buy a third boat worth more than my entire house for a legacy c student from Yale!

As an American who was recently diagnosed with ADHD and was looking forward to getting medicated for it, that’s terrifying.

Not sure if I’ve just lucked out or my area of the country isn’t feeling the effects, but I have literally had zero issues getting my prescriptions filled. In fact, since generic Vyvanse has come out in the last few years, I’m now paying less than $25 a refill when before I was paying over $150. I have never had a delay or a need to go to some specialty pharmacy.

So what gives? Is this actually an issue? Is it only hitting certain parts of the country? I see lots of videos like this but my experience is such a stark difference, I’m just utterly confused.
